La Liga Quarter Final, Lafayette Park

We really wanted this — as did they. Started by the founders of Lempira (current La Liga Champions), Alpha played with heart. Their forward scored 2 times off of deep shots from the left corner (insane angle), putting in the first goal early in the half. Aaron (#2) came back (from Defense) and scored 2 points for Parkside before half time. We set the pace and held most of the possession, but were just unlucky with our shots (at least 6 shots hit the cross bar). In the second half we calmed down a bit and played 2 touch with build after build to the goal, scoring 2 times early in the 2nd half. Alpha was tired, but managed to score a 3rd goal (from their forward) in the last 5 minutes. They desperately tried to tie at the end but ran out of steam and time.
