Parkside Fútbol Club was founded by Jonathan Maghen at Lafayette Park in Westlake. After playing two seasons (2006—2007) in La Liga de Fútbol Lafayette Park, the team, a group of friends and locals from the park’s nightly pickup games (11pm—2am), was formally organized as a Club. The Club is managed by Grant Bush. Parkside will begin it’s official inaugural season on October 17, 2007 with a generous kit sponsorship from adidas.
